About George

George Woolley is an award-winning Producer and Development Executive with more than 150 hours of television, digital and branded entertainment programming to his credit.

George believes in the fundamentals of storytelling, the thrill of creativity, and the power of analytics.

For George, there has never been a more exciting time to be at the nexus of traditional and digital entertainment.

Over the past 18 months George has served as Head of Originals at Portal A, responsible for the creation, development, and sale of premium scripted and non-scripted content.

Prior to joining Portal A, George created and produced series for MTV, Vh1, ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Disney, Fuse, Red Bull TV, YouTube Red, Verizon Go90, and Fullscreen.  

George has worked as an Executive Producer for Yahoo! Studios, Red Bull Media House and most recently as Vice President of Programming for Disney-owned Maker Studios.

George grew up in Berkeley, California and is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Communications.

George speaks Spanish and Portuguese, loves sports, music, studying world cultures and occasionally making ridiculous rap videos.

George lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two year old son.
